A Commerce Graduate from the University of Calcutta. Having expertise in Human Resource management, programme management, initiation and coordination of various educational projects. And moreover, a child rights professional with decades of experience in development sector.
Mamoon Akhtar is a school dropout of Class-VII. Later he studied up to Class-XII. He started his career as a social entrepreneur on 08.08.2001 with an objective to provide quality English education to underprivileged communities of Tikiapara slum. He started a small school with only 6 children in a 300 square feet room. Later, he established five English medium schools, one charitable dispensary, two mobile medical dispensary, one vocational training center for youth and livelihood opportunities for 1000 women every year. He also established a Sports Academy for poor children, but his vision is to bring 100% literacy within the community by 2032.

Having expertise in preparation of concept note/proposal and report writing, content creation, documentation, pre-press graphics designing. A seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in development sector.
